Ok, now I'm obsessed with Marie Antoinette! I absolutely loved this fictional account of the Marie Antoinette! Carolly Erickson uses amazing imagery and detail to bring life to the unfortunate former queen. This book was intriguing, sad, entertaining, and well written. I loved it and highly recommend reading it after seeing the movie Marie Antoinette, so the reader can visually imagine each diary entry!
